This lip balm uses Organic Calendula-infused Olive Oil and Organic Tamanu nut oil along with other natural ingredients to provide the ultimate moisturization and protection for your lips. Calendula is one of my favorite herbs. Not only is it a beautiful flower, but it really throws a powerful punch as far as a natural herbal remedy for many ailments. Tamanu is a nut oil rich in fatty acids and is also effective in moisturizing and soothing the skin. I love to use it on my feet for moisturizing.
Naturally good for your lips, this lip balm lets your lips exfoliate, which is a healthy and natural phase for your skin to go through. You can use a natural exfoliator mixture like almond oil & sugar, or almond oil & coffee to "scrub" your lips, however, I would limit this process to only when you need it. Over-exfoliating your lips can damage them, leaving them sore and cracked. Applying a natural lip balm after exfoliating is necessary for moisturizing and protection from the elements.
