Kelpy Wrap
This wrap is knit using 2 strands of Malabrigo Mecha. It is so thick and chunky, and the combinations of colors are endless for this wrap.
This pattern is from Purl Soho, and they call it the Seafaring Scarf. I think I made it larger than their specs, and I also doubled up on the yarn. I love their patterns and you can find them here.

I just finished one with a combination of Mostaza, and Candombe. The royal blue in the candombe is brilliant! I feel the Kelpie wrap is still a good name for this, as the color combinations are fun.
I knit my first wrap with a combination of Malabrigo Mecha in Mostaza and Arco Iris. The color reminds me so much of the California North Coast giant seal kelp, therefore the name Kelpie. I chose this very simple design of a fisherman's knit, because I absolutely love the simplicity of the design. You can use it as a wrap or even a mini blanket in a pinch. The yarn is very soft and will keep you warm and dry for many years. The Kelpie can be a casual scarf or an elegant evening wrap.
A hand-carved wooden shawl pin will ship with the wrap to keep your wrap in place. Also adding a touch of elegance.

Hand wash and dry flat this item for the maximum life of your product. I do include a sample of wool wash, and instructions on washing.
