So dang cute! Made from vintage Levi's and cotton fabric. The pockets work (yay), and the original leather tag from the back of the jeans is attached to the front pocket. I am trying to use all parts of the blue jeans that I collect. There are so many ways to use recycled fabric, and I am going to try to use the whole jean. Too much stuff ending up in the landfill.
I am making these aprons with the bib or without the bib, and I will be posting the non-bib version as soon as I get some made. I use the rear end of the jeans for my hot pads. Check them out here, they are very handy as well. Keep your eyes open for other Upcycled Blue Jean projects from MountainsideGoods.
These aprons are very durable and will last you a lifetime. To wash, just throw them in the laundry like a pair of jeans.
I think there will be different sizes, as I have a bunch of old Levi's to use, and they range in sizes. I will list each one by jean color, fabric pattern and size of jeans in the options. They all have very long ties, so I am confident that any of the sizes will fit. However, some are taller (the bib) than others.
